too much not needed to be done

Sometimes knowing what you MUST do (and doing it) is easier than (having the leisure to) figure out what you WANT to do.

Sometimes having lots that you MUST DO can be a great alibi for (fulfilling ones') life.

.
Is it clear that I feel I get lost (in the "leisure" of) trying to figure out what I WANT to do?

Freedom can be a burden! hah!

Interesting...I've been there myself! Sounds like expat/mommy angst? Btw, how do you keep your house so clean? Ollie has destroyed ours...

spot on J. :-) ah the tribulations of expat mums!!!
Thanks for the compliment about our house being clean - maybe the film of Emma was taken on cleaning day?!
We're trying to teach Emma to take her shoes off when she comes in and to tidy up her toys after she finishes whatever she has been doing/playing with... and she actually enjoys taking her books and piling them one by one on the shelves.... ;-) Still I can't wait for spring!!!
Read you're heading back to Washington DC - wow!!!

I know EXACTLY what that feels like...it's a bit like having free time after exams and not really knowing what to do with the time!
